S̄wạs̄dī From Thailand!

Finally, a hotel with decent upload speeds!

Thailand has been great so far and the longer we stay the more I like it. We stayed in Bangkok for a few days and spent most of our time in the khao san road area, we also took a lot of time to just sit and relax, catch up on youtube and watch a few episodes of Battlestar Galactica too. Bangkok is loud, very hot and very tourist focused, which is cool for a while but I'm glad we're out of the city now. After Bangkok we took the train to Ayutthaya and spent a while day walking around the city looking at the ruins. At night we got some pad-thai and watched all the bats fly out of Wat Ratchaburana which was really cool.

Last night we arrived in Sukhothai and went to Poo restaurant to get some food, (the food was better than the name of the restaurant.) Following that we went to a bar called 'Choppers bar' for a nice cool Chang and basically, it turned out to be one of the coolest experiences yet. The owner of the bar was there, (he was in a partying mood,) and he started sending out free planes of food to all the people on the patio. Eventually after a few free dishes we went and sat with him and although he didn't speak English very well, everyone else at the who had also come to join did. We met a bunch of really cool Germans, talked with the staff, ate an insane amount of delicious food and made plans to hang out with the Germans the next day.
Although the beer makes the memory a littly hazy, I'll never forget last night.

Here's all the pictures from the last few days, hopefully the next place we stay has good wifi as well!

Final update about Japan

Mom, don't read the next sentence. I think I want to move to Japan. (I'm just kidding mom, don't worry)

Japan has been without a doubt one of the coolest places I've ever been. It's clean, it's safe, it's full of delicious food and warm people. It exists on both extremes of the technological spectrum with city-scapes that expand almost to the horizon and temple islands that make you feel as though you've slipped back in time. Also it has a robot show. Yes. A robot show.

I'm finding the wifi upload speeds pretty slow so if you want more up to date stuff follow me on Instagram. But here's the last batch of shots from Japan. More to come of Thailand soon!
